The plan will be specifically written for Pine Grove and will include
such information as evacuation routes, risk analysis, hazard fuel
treatments from all entities, an accurate road atlas, reverse 911,
Wi-Fi hot spots, and a strong conservation element. Much of this
information will be recorded on data layers in a GIS program that
will be available to not only AFSC, but fire protection, law
enforcement, OES, and other county agencies. In addition, a
number of community town hall meetings will be conducted to get
feedback from the community.

A Community Conservation Wildfire Protection Plan (CCWPP) is a
multi-agency plan that balances fire safety and conservation values and is a
collaboration between state, federal, and local fire agencies including
CALFIRE, USFS, Amador Fire Safe Council, local governments and
conservation leaders. Many projects over several years will support this
initiative. We will keep you up-to-date on the Fires Safe Council's
components.

Please see the master document describing the AFSC component to the
County-wide Wildfire Protection Plan

Part of the CCWPs are plans to provide for livestock and
small pet evacuations. We will produce a written
document and these plans will also have a significant GIS
(Geographic Information Systems) segment with
dynamic, computer driven maps that can be updated and
produced immediately in the event of a wildfire or other
natural disaster
